1.1 Realizing the Core Functions of the Product and Service
1.1.1 Account Registration and Login
To create an account and identify your identity in order to provide you with AI characters, when you register a AIMate account, we will collect the account-related information you actively provide (such as nickname, avatar). If you use a third-party account (e.g., WeChat) for authorized login, after obtaining your consent, we will obtain the information you have authorized to be public from the third party (such as nickname, avatar, specific details subject to the third-party authorization interface) to quickly complete the registration or login process.
1.1.2 AI Interaction Service
To provide the core AI character dialogue and emotional exchange services, we will process the content generated during your interaction (such as chat text, text converted from voice input). This information is the core element of providing the service, used to understand your needs and generate corresponding responses. We may anonymize and de-identify the interaction content for analyzing and optimizing the AI model and service quality.
1.2 Additional Functions and Optimizing Experience
1.2.1 Personalized Settings and Content Recommendation
In order to provide you with an interactive experience and content recommendations that better suit your preferences, we may collect and use your usage behavior data (such as your interaction frequency with AI characters, preferred topics, feature usage) and device information.
1.3 Account Security and System Optimization
To protect your account security, optimize service experience, troubleshoot anomalies, and prevent fraudulent activities, we may collect the following information:
1.3.1 Device Information: Including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as IMEI, Android ID, OAID, IDFA, IDFV, etc.), device settings, MAC address, IP address, network type, screen resolution, device environment (such as language, time zone), and approximate location information (based on IP address).
1.3.2 Log Information: Including the content you search and browse when using our services, pages visited, service failure information, performance data, and other service usage details.
1.4 Message Notifications
To promptly push important information such as AI character interaction reminders and service notifications to you, we may use the system notification function to display relevant messages in the device notification bar. You can manage these notifications in your device settings or in-app notification settings.
1.5 Operational Quality Assurance
To ensure the stability and security of service operations, prevent malicious programs, and improve service quality, we may collect application operation information (such as crash information, performance data, overall usage frequency, installation source). Such information may be processed through cooperating third-party statistical platforms (such as Umeng, etc.) and has been anonymized.

We may collect application version numbers and system version numbers to troubleshoot compatibility issues and optimize the service experience.
Please note that device information and log information alone are information that cannot identify a specific natural person. If we combine this type of non-personal information with other information to identify a specific natural person, or use it in combination with personal information, then during the period of combination, this type of non-personal information will be treated as personal information. Unless we obtain your authorization or it is otherwise provided by laws and regulations, we will anonymize and de-identify this type of personal information.

2.1 Cookies and similar technologies are commonly used technologies in internet services. When you use AIMate, we may send one or more Cookies or anonymous identifiers to your device to collect and identify information about your use of our services. We are committed to using such technologies only for the purposes described in this policy, mainly including:
(1) Ensuring Service Security and Efficient Operation: Through security authentication Cookies or anonymous identifiers, we can confirm your login status, prevent risks such as account theft and fraud, and improve service response efficiency.
(2) Optimizing Access Experience: These technologies can avoid you having to repeatedly enter personal information or search content, simplifying the operation process.

2.3 Clearing Cookies: You can manage or clear Cookies and related data stored on your device according to your preferences. You can clear cache data through device or browser settings. However, please note that after clearing, you may not be able to use services or functions that rely on Cookies, or it may affect your service experience.
3. How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information
3.1 Sharing Principles
(1) Authorization and Consent: Without your consent, we will not share your personal information, unless the information has been de-identified and the recipient cannot re-identify the information subject.
(2) Legitimacy and Minimum Necessity: Data sharing must be based on legitimate and proper purposes, and the shared information is limited to what is necessary to achieve that purpose.
(3) Security and Prudence: We will prudently evaluate the purpose of third parties' use of personal information, comprehensively assess their security保障 capabilities, and require them to strictly comply with legal and regulatory requirements and handle personal information cautiously through contracts, agreements, etc.
3.2 Information Sharing Required for Function Realization

3.4 Participation in Marketing Activities
If you participate in marketing activities held by us or our partners, you may need to provide sensitive information such as name, contact information, address, or bank account number. Only with your explicit consent will we share such information with third parties to ensure the activity experience or reward distribution. 3.5 Types of Partners
Types of partners include:
Service platforms or service providers: Such as third-party payment institutions, cloud computing service providers. When third-party services are integrated, we will provide relevant information based on your authorization or business needs. Their personal information processing activities are the responsibility of the third party.
Hardware/software/system service providers: With your authorization, we may share necessary information to jointly provide services or optimize the experience.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information
4.1 Retention Period
We will retain your personal information for the period necessary for the purpose of providing you with AIMate services, unless laws require or permit retention for a longer period. After you actively cancel your account or we no longer need your personal information for the purposes stated in this policy, we will delete your personal information or anonymize it in accordance with the law, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.
If the AIMate product ceases operation, we will notify you through push notifications, announcements, etc., and process your personal information within a reasonable period in accordance with the law.
4.2 Storage Region
In accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, we will store the personal information collected and generated during the operation of services within the territory of the People's Republic of China. If cross-border transfer is required, we will strictly comply with Chinese laws and regulations and obtain your separate authorization and consent.
4.3 Protection Measures
4.3.1 Technical Measures: We have used security protection measures that comply with industry standards to protect the personal information you provide, preventing data from unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. These include but are not limited to SSL/TLS encrypted transmission, data encryption storage, access control, de-identification processing, anonymization processing, etc. We regularly review our information collection, storage, and processing practices, and update physical, technical, and administrative security measures. If a personal information security incident occurs, we will activate the emergency plan in a timely manner as required by laws and regulations, prevent the security incident from expanding, and inform you through push notifications, announcements, etc.
4.3.2 Administrative Measures: We have also implemented strict management for employees or outsourcing personnel who have access to your personal information, including but not limited to implementing different permission controls based on their positions, signing confidentiality agreements with them, and monitoring their operations. We conduct security and privacy protection training courses to strengthen employees' awareness of the importance of protecting personal information.
4.3.3 Your Understanding: The internet environment is not absolutely secure. Although we have taken the aforementioned reasonable and effective measures and comply with the standards required by relevant laws and regulations, we still cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information when communicated through insecure channels. Please keep your account and password information properly and avoid leakage. If you find that your account password has been or may be leaked for any reason, please contact us immediately so that we can take corresponding measures to prevent or reduce losses.
It is recommended that you back up important information promptly. Please note that the systems and communication networks you use to access our services may have problems due to reasons beyond our control.
5. Your Rights
In accordance with relevant Chinese laws, regulations, standards, and common practices in other countries and regions, we guarantee that you can exercise the following rights regarding your personal information:

You have the right to access your personal information, except for exceptions provided by laws and regulations. You can access your personal information by:

If you are unable to access these personal information through the above links, you can contact us at any time through the contact information provided at the end of this policy. We will respond to your access request within 15 days.
(2) Correct or Supplement Your Personal Information
When you find that the personal information we process about you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request us to correct or supplement it. You can make a correction or supplement request through the methods listed in "(1) Access to Your Personal Information".
(3) Delete Your Personal Information
You can request us to delete personal information under the following circumstances:
If our processing of personal information violates laws and regulations;
If we collect and use your personal information without obtaining your explicit consent;
If our processing of personal information seriously violates the agreement with you;
If you no longer use our products or services, or you have actively cancelled your account;
If we permanently no longer provide you with products or services.
When we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will, as much as possible, notify the entities that have obtained your personal information from us and require them to delete it in a timely manner (unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, or these entities have independently obtained your authorization). After you or we assist you in deleting the relevant information, due to applicable legal and security technical limitations, we may not be able to immediately delete the corresponding information from the backup system. We will delete this information or ensure it is anonymized when the backup is updated.
(4) Change the Scope of Your Authorization
You can withdraw or change the authorization you have granted us for specific personal information by contacting customer service or through device/in-app permission settings. After you withdraw your consent, we will no longer process the corresponding personal information. However, your decision to withdraw consent will not affect the previous personal information processing based on your authorization.
(5) Cancel Account
You can apply to cancel your account through the "Cancel Account" function in the "Settings" - "Account & Security" or similar path within the App. After you actively cancel your account, we will stop providing you with products or services, and delete or anonymize your personal information according to the requirements of applicable laws, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.
Cancelling an account is an irreversible operation. Please back up all information and data related to your account before proceeding. After successful cancellation, we will no longer collect, use, or share personal information related to that account. However, for information already in use or shared, we still need to fulfill the relevant information preservation and management obligations as required by laws and regulations. If your account is involved in a dispute, it may not be cancelled immediately and can only be processed after the dispute is resolved.
(6) Responding to Your Above Requests
To ensure safety, you may need to provide a written request or prove your identity in other ways. We may first require you to verify your identity before processing your request. We will provide a response within 15 days. For your reasonable requests, we generally do not charge any fees, but for requests that are repeated multiple times or exceed reasonable limits, we will charge a certain cost fee depending on the situation. We may refuse requests that are unnecessarily repetitive, require excessive technical means (such as developing new systems or fundamentally changing current practices), pose risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or are highly impractical (such as involving information stored on backup tapes).
Under the following circumstances, we will be unable to respond to your request as required by laws and regulations:
Directly related to national security and national defense security;
Directly related to public security, public health, and significant public interests;
Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments, etc.;
There is sufficient evidence showing that you have subjective malice or abuse of rights;
Responding to your request will lead to serious damage to the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals or organizations;
Involving trade secrets.
6. How We Protect Children's Personal Information
6.1 Our products, website, and services are primarily intended for adults. Children should not create their own user accounts without the consent of their parent or guardian. For the collection of children's personal information with parental consent, we will only use or publicly disclose this information when permitted by law, with the explicit consent of the parent or guardian, or when necessary to protect the child.
6.2 We consider anyone under the age of 14 as a child. If we find that we have collected a child's personal information without prior verifiable parental consent, we will try to delete the relevant data as soon as possible.

7. How Your Personal Information is Transferred Globally
7.1 The personal information collected and generated during our operations within the People's Republic of China is stored within China, except for the following circumstances:
